Stealing excerpts from Maw Broon's nutritious cookbook we make stomachs either rumble or turn with talk of pieces and dripping, finnan haddie, rabbit stew, stovies, and even something pretty rude called 'tickling trout'.

Return of the beast

Hello again, remember us?

You may remember us from such podcast episodes as Speedway, Rabbits and Muscular.  Classic episodes! Well, for those of you wondering where we've been since August 2012, wonder no more, because we've dusted off the old machinery (otherwise known as "Faither"), applied some WD40, and planned a brand sparkling new episode tomorrow evening.

We promised the last time an episode about football in the old days in Glasgow.  So you'll be pleased to note that in honest fulfilment of that promise, we'll be talking about food.  So get the table set, tuck in your napkin, and settle down for a nourishing meal of nonsensical drivel.
